Terms of Service

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These terms cover your use of FatClipboard (the desktop app) and the FatClipboard website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

The service

FatClipboard is a desktop clipboard manager. It runs locally on your computer and stores your clipboard history there. An account and internet connection are required for sign-in, billing, and optional AI features (AI Transform, semantic search) — the core clipboard history feature works offline.

Free and Pro plans

FatClipboard offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed by Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis and include a trial period as described at checkout. You can cancel anytime from the Billing settings in the app — your Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account reverts to the Free tier.

Refunds

Charges are generally non-refundable, but if something went wrong (accidental charge, billing error), email alexarvio16@gmail.com and we'll sort it out on a case-by-case basis.

Acceptable use

Don't use FatClipboard to do anything illegal, to attempt to abuse or overload the service, or to reverse-engineer or resell it. Don't use the AI features to process content you don't have the right to process.

Your content

Your clipboard history belongs to you. We don't claim any ownership over it. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what leaves your device and when.

No warranty

FatClipboard is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not responsible for data loss — back up anything important the same way you would with any local application.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FatClipboard's liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law: to be filled in once you've settled on where the business is formed/based — this section is intentionally left as a placeholder rather than guessed.
